A promotional gift card is a one-time-use card that a customer receives by physical mail by participating in an MCC Thrift campaign or contest held in a shop or online through our website or social media channels. It is not a card that can be purchased by customers.
Although our promotional gift cards cannot be purchased as they are available only through contests and giveaways, gift cards are available for purchase in select shops in Canada and the U.S. Please contact your local thrift shop for gift card availability and rules and regulations as these vary by shop.
You can use your card at any MCC Thrift shop location in Canada and the U.S.
Simply present your one-time-use promotional gift card to a shop volunteer. Then, you can purchase items according to your local MCC Thrift shop’s gift card regulations.
Unfortunately, no. At this time, promotional gift cards can only be used for purchases at a physical shop.
No. Gift cards can only be used to purchase physical items from MCC Thrift shops in Canada and the U.S. and are not redeemable for cash.
Yes. Your gift card is a promotional gift card and will have an expiration date stamped on the back of your card.
Yes. Promotional gift cards are one-time-use cards that when a purchase is made, are to be given to the shop. Once you’ve presented your promotional gift card to the cashier at your local MCC Thrift shop, you can make purchases with your gift card according to the shop’s gift card system. Please note that you must abide by their rules for exchange.
Great question! As your promotional gift card is a one-time-use card, a balance on your card will not be carried forward.
